What is The Personal Barber Shaving Club?
The Personal Barber is the curated shaving subscription that wants to turn your daily chore into a satisfying experience to look forward to.
We passionately believe that making the switch to a single-blade razor will change your whole outlook on shaving. Not only is it kinder on your skin so you can achieve a close shave without razor burn or rash, but there’s something very satisfying about using a single-blade that just isn’t felt from a modern, plastic, multi-blade razor.
That’s why we created our shaving club where you’ll be learning the art of the classic wet shave whilst getting to try a range of fantastic products to bring life to your morning routine. Every 6 weeks, we curate a selection of only the finest wet shaving gear from all over the world, introducing you to the lesser known brands and small businesses that you don’t see in the supermarkets.

Pre-shave box – Post-shave box – Extra-care box
Our latest kit is the “Post-Shave Box” which will be going out to renewing subscribers between January 1st – February 14th.
On top of a new shaving soap and restock of 10 blades, this kit always features a post-shave balm to help calm the skin after shaving and promote the healing process so it feels comfortable all day long. We also usually showcase a solid cologne in this kit which we believe is one of the most exciting new products that every gentleman must try.

TPB Lemon & Tea Tree Shaving Cream RRP £9.95
We’re excited to unveil this brand new shaving cream, made in collaboration with one of our artisan soap makers based in the UK. Handmade as part of a small batch process to ensure highest quality, this bespoke shaving cream has been formulated using high quality, natural ingredients without any parabens.
This cream has been made to be slightly softer than our previous features. Let us know if you prefer it this way!
Only a small amount is needed to quickly whip into a dense, hydrating lather that protects the skin during the shave and leaves your face feeling silky smooth. A combination of coconut oil, castor oil and glycerin softens the hair follicles whilst providing slip for the razor to glide effortlessly across your skin.
The unique and uplifting fragrance of lemongrass blends beautifully with tea tree for an invigorating shave. The scent wears off quickly after rinsing it off so it won’t interfere with your choice of aftershave.
To use: Take a small almond-sized dollop of shaving cream with a dry finger and press into the tips of your slightly damp brush. Work up your lather in either a bowl, your hand, or directly on your face using swirling motions and adding a drop of water at a time until it's rich and creamy.
It's important not to let any water get into your cream tub because this will water it down and reduce its longevity. That's why we use a dry finger to move it across to the brush.

Seven Potions Post-Shave Balm RRP £13.97
Seven Potions is a British brand that claims to have one mission: to provide fine gentlemen with top notch natural products with no compromises on quality and performance. Each of their range has been painstakingly tested and tweaked to arrive at the best formulations using a premium blend of natural and organic ingredients.
This post-shave balm is designed to soothe any potential irritation after a shave while also preventing moisture loss. Powerful antioxidant-rich ingredients such as barley extract and cucumber extract help to protect the skin from free radical damage. Witch Hazel and babassu oil are used for their anti-inflammatory properties that help deal with any shaving irritation you may suffer.
The lightweight, non-greasy formula quickly absorbs into the skin and the subtle scent has warming and pleasing medicinal tones.
To use: Immediately after shaving, take a pea-sized dollop of balm and massage it into skin that’s still slightly damp. Follow up with a moisturiser, if you have one, to lock in moisture. 
The Personal Barber Prince Solid Cologne RRP £19.95
We’re very excited to announce the launch of our solid cologne, made to our own unique formula and presenting the new Prince fragrance!
Our Prince cologne has been made with a highly concentrated base of finest essential and fragrance oils to ensure a strong fragrance that lasts (parfum is the second largest ingredient!).
Unlike commonly seen sprays, solid cologne is an alcohol-free and water-free form of aftershave that is portable and discreet to apply. You can easily carry it with you and reapply as needed, we suggest every 4 hours or so.
Made from a luxurious blend of berry wax, jojoba oil, shea butter, & carefully chosen parfum which means it won’t dry out your skin but in fact keep it moisturised as well as smelling great.
The berry wax is a natural and vegan alternative to beeswax. Made from the wax on the outer peel of berries from the Rhus Verniciflua tree, it has a soft and silky texture that melts into the skin.
Prince is a seductive men’s fragrance that starts off with zesty top notes of grapefruit and bergamot before easing into spicy and herbal heart notes of cypress, clove and angelica. The warm base notes of sandalwood, rich oud and musk finish it off.
To use: Gently rub your finger over the balm and then apply to your pulse points such as your wrist, neck and behind your ears. We use the pulse points because they heat up the cologne, making it project better.
Want a stronger scent? Use the back of your nail to scrape off a larger quantity. The more you use, the stronger it will be.
Ingredients: Rhus Verniciflua Peel Cera (Berry wax), Parfum, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea butter), Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba oil), Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Linalool, Limanene.
BIC Astor Stainless and Shark Super Chrome Double-Edge Blades
Astor are a well known brand from Greece, made by BIC. They make a very sharp blade with great longevity. Best used in a mild razor so be careful to use light pressure! Last 4-8 shaves
Shark are a medium sharpness blade from Egypt that work well with all beard types. They’re PTFE coated to aid glide and reduce irritation and are a popular brand with many advocates for their ability to give a consistently smooth shave. Last 3-6 shaves
