Pre-shave box – Post-shave box – Extra-care box

Our latest kit is the “Pre-shave box” which will be going out to renewing subscribers between November 16th - December 31st. With this kit we usually feature a product such as a pre-shave cream or oil, designed to prep your beard before you slap a lather on and start shaving. We also feature an extra product that’s more long-lasting and tend to feature less than once a year, so it’s quite the exclusive box!

Join our men’s shaving club here before December 31st to get this kit (only whilst stocks last).

Shaving Soap Eve fragrance from Kepkinh

Kepkinh Eve Shaving Soap £14.95

Kepkinh is a boutique artisanal soap maker from Greece where every soap has been painstakingly created by hand as part of a small batch, cut into squares, packaged and sealed with wax. Free from preservatives and boasting a list so full of skin-loving ingredients there isn’t enough space to mention them all, let alone describe their benefits. Some standouts include Coenzyme Q10 as well as snail secretion for their anti-ageing properties, and green tea extract which helps soothe and calm irritation. Most notably, this shaving soap may be the only one in the world that uses both fresh water buffalo milk and buffalo yoghurt. Buffalo milk is the most fatty milk and so these fatty acids help produce a soap that is gentle for the skin and deeply moisturising. Regardless of what you may think of all the ingredients, there’s no doubt that this soap is a fantastic performer. An effortlessly thick and creamy lather that leaves the skin feeling smooth and hydrated post-shave. The Eve fragrance is a delightful blend of Lavender, Tobacco, Musk, Narcissus, Oakmoss, and Vanilla.

To use: Taking a slightly damp shaving brush, swirl over the top of the soap for 5 seconds and then build your lather in a bowl, your hand or directly on your face until creamy with stiff meringue-like peaks. Add a drop of water or 2 at a time if it’s too thick.

Ingredients: Stearic acid, Beef Tallow, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Buffalo Yogurt, Buffalo Milk, Sodium Hydroxide, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil, Olea Europaea Fruit (Olive) Oil, Argania Spinsosa (Argan) Oil, Persea Gratissima ( Avocado) Oil, Aroma*, Propolis Extract, Honey, Vitamin E, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Hydrolysed Elastin, Aqua Soluble Collagen, Green Tea Extract, Kiwi Extract, Goji Berries Extract, Green Clay, Q10.

*Aroma profile: Special blend of essential oils (Lavender, Tobacco, Musk, Narcissus, Oakmoss, Vanilla).

Shaving Oil from Oil Can Grooming

Oil Can Grooming Angel’s Share Shave Oil RRP £18

Oil Can Grooming are a fresh British brand with a focused range of hair, skin, and beard products. Their brand name and aesthetic style is built around the humble oil can, and comes from the idea that “Keeping machinery and moving parts in prime condition and running smoothly. Something our products will do for you.”. We love the shape and style of the can that the oil comes in, it really stands out. Made from a blend of grape seed and avocado oil for their natural moisturising properties, it’s perfect for adding that extra layer of protection underneath your lather for a really comfortable, smooth shave. It also helps to soften the hairs which makes it a lot easier for the blade to cut through, minimising any chance of an uncomfortable tugging feeling. The citrus fragrance is a blend of lime and mint which leaves the skin feeling cool and refreshed post-shave.

To use: Take a couple of drops of oil and massage into beard immediately after showering. Leave for a minute to absorb into your skin and hairs before applying your shaving lather directly on top. Repeat on any additional passes, but with a smaller amount.

Blade bank from The Personal Barber

The Personal Barber Blade Safe £4.95

Our brand new blade safe is an essential accessory that every wet shaver should have in their bathroom. We’ve featured one before and it’s always been so well received we decided to make our own. If you’ve ever wondered what to do with your used razor blades, this is your answer. It has a small razor sized gap in the top that allows you to safely dispose of used razor blades away from pets, small hands and fragile bin liners. The whole tin is recyclable so, once it’s full, it can simply be thrown in the recycling making it great for the environment. Recycling rules for metal vary by county so please do check with your local council and make sure you’re allowed to add metal to your recycling bin. If not, there will be a metal recycling option at your local tip. It holds quite a lot of blades so you’ll probably spend the better part of a year filling it up before needing to recycle it.
